War On Terror?

there is no war on terror
on creed and colour
surely not?
this cannot be our fate
this phoney campaign
this ignorance we must tolerate
there is simpleton in charge
with oil instead of blood
there is no war on terror
not as such
the war we must fight
is to change our sorry situation
those giant sick corporations
the raping of nations
under false banners
it is a sick, sick situation
and we must not let it run its course
the pilging of wealth
their only natural resource
four years on,
and the world is not such a safe place
two weeks on,
and they manage to escape
how have we got to this stage
surely it is not too late
there is no war on terror
we must fight ignorance and hate
