Life Plan – Written Tuesday 26th February 2008 (Aged 33)

Life Plan

seems like –
i got in the way of your life plan
if only –
you would try and understand
if only –
you would stop preaching from the pulpit –
of your church
the one with its insecure steeple
if only –
you would star listening to people
i tried with you
the mistakes i made, well they were many
but i only ever –
tried to find that contentment
and all that happiness you wanted
