Never Really Scared (Now I Do Not Care) – Written Saturday 26th November 1994 (Aged 19)

Never Really Scared (Now I Do Not Care)

i should never have promised
but then, we all get hurt
and we all lose sleep at night
or we come off worse
it seems to be a part of life
and it may not be right
but it seems to be part of growing
a way of learning
so, do not be stupid
i know you are were upset
what is the point of acting like you do
i always feared you had no self respect
and i was upset
but only because you made me
made me lose all my feelings for you
the way you acted,
the things that you do
i suddenly find myself, not liking you
and that was so strange
after all that we have been through
and there was a point where i still cared
like little lost children we huddled
but we were never really that scared
and now, i just do not care
