Shake Me Up
shake me up,
rush me out,
kick my arrogance into touch
change my luck
you’re an artist
painting me a smile every day
tell me about the sun
follow those fingers
watch where they go
grab me by the hand
hold onto me with hands
shake me up,
my world is rotating,
just anticipating
shake me up

Shake Me Up – Written Sunday 1st July 2001 (Aged 26)

Is a bit of a shake up to actually see handwriting rather than typed words for a change. I feel there is something nicely fluid about them 🙂

Thank you 🙂 I am writing from all my original writing pads – so, I scan in the original as well as the piece typed up. I think it shows the creative process and gives an intimate insight 🙂
