Past Tense

you have started to talk in past tense
‘we’ has become ‘I’
and every sentence
comes with a silent goodbye
but I hear it loud and clear
i am one in a million
just feeling alone in a crowd
you have started to talk in past tense
what we are going to do
has become ‘what we have done’
it seems our future
is over before it has begun
little messages and clues
i find by our memories
that’s where they are left
crossword, riddle or even puzzle
it does not matter I have already guessed
you have started to talk in past tense
