did i end up so blue?
rainbows it seems,
just fell through

you hear words
and i guess,
that more of less you do care
but is not –
a way to live your life

perhaps they did not care enough
but they crawled under bellies
and eagerly sought my touch

their flirts and their lust
i look at their eyes
as they blink back the rust

oh, i know,
be thick skinned
but it is the thick minded
that level the attack

it is true, the depression and the mood swings
which the depression finally brings
and the highs and lows
which cause me so much trouble
