Live Like Architects – Written July 2011 (Aged 36)

Live Like Architects

this is the station
a destination,
none of us expected to find
you have followed the tracks of my mind
i have chosen the places i wish to pass
all those people,
put out to grass
all those people,
who never dared toast
perhaps they did not care enough
but they crawled under bellies
and eagerly sought my touch
but this is the station
and now you have fond love
in place where once there was not enough
no more destruction,
let’s live architects
because we know there is future construction
