to our time

it broke me
and i cried tears
that had been fermenting

the loving support may no longer be physical
but beyond emotions
it remains, even with such pain
and as she sleeps
she is with you, for keeps

what does it mean
to show you value people
and on that idea, you are keen
it is a loss
a deficit
a debt from some trauma based cost

they breathe a sigh of relief
and suggest the counselling
as if our emotional being
has blocks, a, b and c
do mistake emotional –
for fragility
do not think, nuts, and assume a wrench

people cannot help themselves
they cover their backs
as they stall and stoop
even as adults,
they lie as if they have croup

is that the heady fumes of delusion
