Waiting For Contact (Originally Untitled) – Written Friday 22nd October 2010 (Aged 35)

Waiting for Contact

i sit here
waiting for contact
i travel here
and i travel there
bruised by encounters
bled almost bare
throwing shots
at local village fayres
find me,
in hot air balloons
strumming the sky
kissing clouds
and look me in the eye
hold my body,
as it lies
i sit here
waiting for the next installment
it is hard not to be excited
dare not be indifferent
