everytime i pick up the phone
i wonder, even though i am not far
whether i am alone
i feel a stranger now
even in the place that i thought was home

i have always been able to see
but like all dreams
the difficulty is believing it
i have peddled as fast as i can
i have held on tight with hopeful hands
