Remembrance – Written Between February and June 1995 (Aged 20)

it is wild ways,
lazy days almost gone
but we have been about
since the time when we were you
can you ever work all this out?
it is a board game and i am bored
i feel like like i am going insane
come down to mine on wednesday night
half past five, i bet you will be depressed
by eight you will be feeling great
you will know how to live
your problems will not be gone
it’s just that they will have gained a perspective
like they used to when we were young
do you remember how we used to be
all of us, just seventeen
what a team, just you and me
your wild ways have been tamed
a necessity of life,
do not take down yourself, you earnt your dues
i will see you soon,
and let’s forget all the blues
