when you are loved by someone
and that love demands
that you must be someone
then it is not love at all
but insecurity from someone still young
and if you refuse
or hold back and say, wait
then, you will have lit the fuse
and it explodes into hate
then you watch as they maul you
trying to destroy who you are
feeling foolish and rejected again
that is why rage against you
unable to deal with their feelings
their love turns to hate
the hate that always lurked inside
the one with petrol firelighters
behind abused eyes
all the madness bubbles up
from that time in their life
when they simply did not get enough
