Relentless

i just can’t stop the pain
we huddle indoors
from this relentless rain
we flick through old pictures
and wonder if we could start again
i need you to hold me
make all this right
just squeeze my hand
tell me it is going to be aright
and then hold me tight
i never wanted to hurt you
believe me;
i never wanted to hurt you
