Guilt and Sexuality

she holds those view
no doubt,
because she feels shame
and a guilt
about her own sexuality
of course,
what she says is vile
but how many people
have felt a shame
and guilt about their own sexuality
of course,
she chooses a faith
that ‘joyous’ catholicism
that does nothing to promote
but instead,
saddles her with shame and guilt
have we got compassion
or time,
for these people
do we find in our hearts the kindness,
they can clearly not find in theirs
