It Is Everything I am

i just love you
you ask me to explain 
i just cannot
i just love you
and i get tired
of people in relationships
telling me how bad it is
i know that they care
this feeling though
does not shift
and people say to me
of course,
it is up to you,
how you live your life
it is funny though
how that phrase
is always followed
by an opinion 
an opinion,
on what i should be doing
how I should be feeling
and as slim
as the chance is
letting go of you
would tear me apart
i know some day
that it will happen
and that the pain 
will really start
i just love you
it is everything I am
