Special People
people are there –
distorted misfits of nature
super freaks delivered from space
with sculptured faces
looked at the apes
thought about swapping places
people are clever, hang about on this earth
what are we waiting for
we are here, but never worry
are we scared?
might be the second age of the dinosaurs
here one generation,
then the next suddenly disappeared
we recline in our arrogance
the need to control
is an inbuilt currency
go to be out there with people
people got to be everywhere
there are special, special people
living behind a veil
imagination beings
living segments of imagination
some say they are lost
some say they are ghosts
i say they are there
to help us in despair
when we need a little super human strength
but i am not the keeper
of the special people
i am just a sleeper
