Men Turned to Rust
your politics
are,
loosely based
on the right
waiting for the female
to kiss you goodnight
waiting for a father
to concede the fight
waiting for a mother
to hold them tight
but,
lacking better sight
one,
that might
just take you –
to more enlightened highlights
these men
angry in their trust
and with rusty halo opinions
rusty.
in their spite and bile
it is not the answer
that lies beneath
your defence material
