tell me in the morning
let me sleep tonight
i am so very tired
my mind has truly expired

let me lay down
say,
i love you
and then fall to sleep
and in those dreams
with their similar themes
let me try and find some peace
let us sleep
i am so tired this week
i have worked so hard
there has been success
but some of it pulls me apart

let me lay down
say,
i love you
and then let the fits and starts
push and pull me to sleep
tell me in the morning
when i know,
we will both feel more complete
