So Much Better
i do not mind the weather
we are still together
in a sunshine laden sky
got a spoonful of rain
and i do not know why
which day did they come
i do not mind the hostilities
i mean, it gets me down
but there are so many possibilities
kiss the sun and stick around
i walked away from a crash
a couple of people,
had too much to drink
at a midnight bash
made me think, made me wonder
as they tried to get high
on a cocktail of static thunder
i wanted to do so much
to change the revolving world
but i realised the weather was spreading
and i could feel the cold
in my secret visits
had you got me sussed
so when i was gone
i was not really missed
i do not mind the weather
at least,
this way,
things are so much better
