i anted a little bit of company
and i realised they did to
so you spent the night with me
and i spent the night with you
just talking away the hours
i wanted to feel a little better about myself
and they said i should
and when they asked if i would dance
i said i could not but that i would
so we all took a little chance
stood by the overcrowded bar
wouldnāt be the next one to go
i wanted a little bit of company
not sex of heavy petting
just a little bit of talking
wanted to find out about someone else
wanted to get close by talking
wanted someone interesting
someone who had something good to say
all i wanted was a little bit of talking
