Weekend in Romania

i have spent this weekend,
here in Romania
with a close friend
i have thought about you
in-between the chat
and the catching up
maybe i should have said,
maybe i did not do enough
here in Romania
things appear poised to change
maybe that is true
maybe i should do the same
i told my close friend
just how much you meant to me
how your closeness
settles my insanity
how you were just so good
and how you had looked after me
