Long Division

it is long division
multiplication, with a side dish
it is my star sign as a giraffe
instead of a fish
it is fighting
when the bell has gone
it is a story of magic
yet asking, how long?
it is the division of hands
the multiplication
of life’s great sum
let it state
let it be done
there is not a thing
that i have not heard before
i work
but always wince in fear
there is a difference between those –
who will sit anywhere
and those who demand
their own chair
it is adding up when emotionally blind
it is hope and glory
which you hope to find
