Another Day
another day,
am i floating in space
am i just a psychologists study case
to assess why we are born
and how, in the most chaos
there is an underlying sense of norm
amongst all the panic and fuss
another day,
better believe we aren’t getting paid
could be a semi apologetic revolution
where the guns are set on phase
and no one can rescue the solution
another day, aren’t we amazed?
it is okay to get faced
the dreams we have are fading fast
i wonder if they have been laced
retro heads, skating in the past
another day,
shipped around in plywood crates
the rain chewing at our skin
blotchy toxic crusty lakes
leopard skin lovers but it is fake
so that is okay, that is another day
just another day,
crumbling away
