I Never Knew (What Was There)

closer than i thought
i was surprised by the warmth
that our feelings have bought
i never knew it was there
guess it means we really care
where are you coming from
i could be falling too fast
and that would be trouble
if it does not last
closer than i thought
i tried to suss out you
like everyone will do
and there is something there
i really did misjudge you
still love your hair
i think i care more than i know
but cannot see how we are,
going to carry on here
how can we grow
please, if you really feel for me
let this boy know
