Your Gospel

i saw you
did i hear you talk?
i am sure you said that you care
i saw you
hawking around your despair
a bag of coals
and you say that you care
did i see you?
outside with the sunshine
the gospel that you spoke
almost made me blind
it could have been real
is sounded so kind
and i saw you
but you did not act as i imagined
your kingly words
did not bear close examination
i saw you,
exploring then exploiting situations
the gospel of your vision
was sadly burnt,
the nature of your actions
sadly for some, was lesson harshly learnt
