Slightly Crazed

i am not,
that slightly crazed
twenty year old anymore
with my childlike hope
science fiction diction
and written paranormal notes

i am not,
that,
excited twenty something
falling down the conveyor belt
as intense factory lights
began to melt

i am not
that,
slightly crazed
thirty something
contemplating addictive addiction
as i made features walls
for my homemade prison

i am
that,
slightly crazed forty something
making pretty filing cabinets
out of my years
feeling loved
as i sweep up past tears
