dolly dishes out the cards
the products
just drift past
luckily jolly jenny
changes her name
but who cares
i saw a wild animal
snared in her stare
and drugs –
come from every direction
a submarine –
subverted my election
a woman,
with a name –
found on fruit machine reels
steals a stool
and predicts how i feel
name the price –
name the whole damn life
pick a colour
and it fades to a darker white
every day is a day –
to take out the boat
jump into the deep blue water
and see if you stay afloat
