Be More Truthful Than This

be more truthful than this…
hun, babe,
lover and then darling…
words that can appear –
quite heartning
but when the truth –
suddenly appears
the cloak does little
to mask the fear
be more wonderful than this…
be talkative
be elective
be more sure
well, i know
i am not so, not anymore
and as controls
turn to a twister
i try to run
but my feet have blisters
they say,
i missed you…
be more truthful than this…
