Anyone for Anyone
be honest, it is selfish
anyone could have filled that gap
it is not about the person
it is just about being with someone
and to be seen,
in a, ‘relationship’
it is selfish,
and reveals a greddy want
and whilst it can be painted
with all that
you have suffered in the past
it is not enough
it is showing off
and saying, ‘look at me’
but they could be anyone
and that is so sad
that we could be picked,
purely on what we do
and not for who we are
not for all the gifts you may have
it is just about the person
in a kind of emotionally immature way
saying, look at me, look at me
personally… i turn the other way
