Looking Around
so hard to believe
so hard not to need
so hard to be tearless
so hard not to contain my pleasure
i always liked the pirate image
and the gems in the treasure
so hard to turn on the t.v
so hard not to wonder
so hard to believe
kids get older when they are younger
kids get out and down
morality is a dirty term
so hard not to look around
so hard to learn
we learn to, from the sea
so hard not to flaunt it
so hard for you and me
so hard, it hurts
so hard not to believe
it has to work
for the lonely free
so hard not to dream
so hard to leave
