Shake Me in the Morning

shake me in the morning
i am too tired tonight
wake me when the day is dawning
i believe, alright
give me some money
and i will be alright
do not trouble me now
i have had a hard week
not too tired to drink
but too tired to speak
do not want to have to think
shake me in the morning
had too much political correction
acid rain and global warming
i need some new direction
not a global warning
shake me in the morning
when i have stopped feeling so tired
