Daydreaming – Wednesday 11th December 1996

Daydreaming

caught a star
that shone in blue
travelled very far
to a lovely place that seemed almost new
caught a mind trip
and mindfully went somewhere else
without you it was strange
so i caught a little of the past
and pondered upon change
all this reminiscing
had me missing my roots
so i cleverly constructed a set
that fitted me nicely
and left me with a little respect
caught a star
which i guess is a slightly strange thing
certainly to say
sometimes it is all a daydream
in the stuff today
