Pathway

if i had kept my old life
these people now,
i would have not met
and these people now
are hard to forget
what paths
coud my life have taken
the snow globe
has really been shaken

if i had kept my old life
the people,
i know now
i would have never met
and somehow
that seems such a shame
that the depth of my life
would have lacked such range
