Don’t Lose Me
don’t lose me
i am not good at being lost
still talking to ghosts
do not fool me
i can be fooled easily
if someone offers me something
that i believe, even if it is fake
do not let go of me
i am afraid i cannot fly
and i struggle to swim
in the tears i cry
but i can dream
with the worlds above the sky
do not forget me
as i think of you tonight
try and picture me
and place me in the letters you write
do not turn me away
it is about creation
of special days
i am thinking of you
in so many ways
there are things to be found
in many different phases
