Stop the Rain

i am feeling alone
i have got your number
but i am fed up of hanging on a telephone
could you stop the rain, make it summer?
it is a lot to ask
but i have been feeling much better
and i want us to last
stop the rain coming into my soul
it is awfully damp inside
it is so cold
i am surprised my imagination is still alive
write me a letter
stop the rain
stop the hurt, make it better
i know you
i know you can do it
i will try to do the same for you
i need to start living again
just stop the rain
