Exposed

their naked ambition
has,
exposed itself to me
and i find it quite upsetting
to see what i see
their naked ambition

their naked ambition
has,
caused indecent offence
and they will need all their pay
to make a reasonable
and credible defence
for their naked ambition

their naked ambition has,
revealed more than any of us
want to see
i never want to see such leaders
revealing their parts
intimacy forgotten
as i look at the stone in their hearts
save me
from the exposed flip charts

their naked ambition
has,
exposed itself to me
now, having seen such things
how can i ever believe
their naked ambition
