Do You Remember Fairytales
do you remember fairytales?
do you have to grow up?
does the world have to change?
the furniture taken away
or maybe just rearranged
trying to get value for money
and not feel short changed
there can be so much damage
but you know you cannot claim
do you remember fairytales?
and days on the swings
the motion went back and forth
and echoed well kept dreams
and if fate is a puppeteer
i know that sometimes it hurts my strings
and the brightest memories
are my most precious things
