The Loss of Attention

do you miss me
not giving you the attention
not playing your game
i notice you asked me back
well, i left, what a shame
i will not be your muse
just as i will not take your bullying
and traditional verbal abuse
do you miss me
i came back the other day
and i took a look
i see you are still using me
to mould the way you look
but you never knew,
and never saw me there
which is much like how you act
in reality you struggled to care
everything is gold
but your world is only paint
do you miss me,
not feeding your ego
and that inadequate thirst for attention
well i have gone
and still not a good word is mentioned
