Life is a Play
depression is a cloud,
yet life is part of being in a crowd.
all through the night, i follow the light—
but at the end of time,
will it still shine bright?
i will follow you through time,
just to make you mine.
the world is heavy, surrounded
by depression’s unrelenting weight.
it rams so hard,
leaving no escape.
life is a play,
and i’m an actor with a bit part.
every day,
i break my heart.
