Still Need You

i still need your cuddles
your hugs and holds
after all these years
and all that i have been told
i remain
somehow yours
it is the achilles heel i feared
that weakness and flaw
i still need your touch
your hugs and holds
i feel warmth
and not so cold
you are the constant in a life
that survived all those crazy times
even a wife
i remain,
somehow here
who knows the reason why
just null and void my fear
