The Sun and the Rain – Written Monday 9th August 1999 (Aged 24)

The Sun and the Rain

the rain follows the sun
or is it that the sun follows the rain
a relationship is over
and there is pain
no more, ‘one another’,
the sun, then the rain
but then there is a new someone
and the disappears,
and it is followed by the sun
but always, i carry the fear
the failure and the hurt,
it leaves me scared, as both are near
the sun is following the rain
just for the time being,
as i, tentatively, explore these feelings
