Impatient (Originally Untitled) – Written Tuesday 24th May 2011 (Aged 36)

Impatient

i have felt less impatient
but i cannot remember when
want the future now
and then, all over again
i cycled,
i have tried
i have lived
and began unsure
lots of poems
fall from trees
lots of books
written on knees
we are what we see
in shadowy places
hold me, help me
change faces
i cannot remember when
i felt so impatient
society and its roles
trying not to be so distant
