Decade
i have dreamt for a decade
i have got art deco delusions
and a shopping centre facade,
it will never last
from shy child
to shy child and somewhere in-between
i have dreamt for a decade
i have been in the strangest dream
with some of the strangest beings
i have got folk song predictability
and soulful choice
it will never last
they will find my voice
from shy child
to shy child and somewhere in-between
the journey continues
i have dreamt for a decade
i almost tied once lace
i found a pretty face
i have dreamt for a decade
fashions change and so does the taste
