Clown – Written Between February and june 1995 (Aged 20)

Clown

here we are,
trying to look forward
being pushed –
by my sensitive nature
i have got a headache
just from trying to live
and i am full of despair
from trying to believe
do any of us care?
life is a joker –
but it is not fair
see the tears on my face
i am not wise
hiding behind my clowns disguise
