Rushing Away
rushing away
time to be on our own
we have dipped our toes in
but i know –
you did not want to get any wetter
it is time for sunshine
and time to be together
i feel that this could work
we have tried already
but we just got hurt
so it is time to be rushing away
preparations for a celebration
and maybe a better day
