Kick The Habit
they would like me
to the kick the habit
of depression
well the clouds come and go
i cannot predict
i just do not know
wearing your heart on your sleeve
straining your voice
because when you speak,
you believe
quelling a passion
that cannot be quelled
drinking away your thirst
from an endless well
all these things leave me open
so susceptible to attack
they cannot live with the depression
they would like me
to kick the habit
and i would like to be so much more
