Somehow Society Rewards You
how you behave
is shameful
and never gainful
how you work
is awkward
and hanging from a tree
you squandered
every ounce of me
people like you
and look down on the likes of us
a them and me
that is more than enough
but somehow,
society rewards you
and the way you behave
