Growing Up
what does the child do
it grows up,
but grows up –
and follows many different directions
and moods
some of which,
are sometimes down
we give children everything
bitterness and hate
loneliness and no chances
and hope, for which they have to wait
what does the child do
it grows up
but it is so disjointed
it becomes an adult gone wrong
