Take You to a Place

let me take you to a place
that believe me, is real
where the cynics are not so sarcastic
not so cynical
girl you are you
i could tell you something
but i am sure you have already been told
and it probably means nothing
i do not want to argue
it is not use shouting
believe me, i am older
let’s get together
i do not want it to get any colder
and i am not talking about the weather
shaking with fear
hold back your tears
never raining in your memories
those treasures that are hidden
thinking back to the innocence
that we once had as a children
