Grazing With the Rest of The Herd

so many settle
for second best
they settle
for something
they do not want
never find the courage
to do anything
that is different
and where once
they dreamed of
fairytales coming true
now they settle down
with, ‘making do’
so that is the choice
put up your hand
and use your voice
or never question
and never say a word
should we just graze
with the rest of the herd
